Hip Lifts and Downs

For all women who want to feel good!

Your hips are one of your best assests in belly dance.

One of the first rules in dancing is to keep your knees soft, ie slightly bent, when doing any hip movement, this allows the hips room to move.

Remember to put all your weight on your supporting leg, and bend your knees slightly.

As you begin you will probably make large movements. Later with practice, try to make the movements smaller, more contained. They will then feel snappier and look more precise.
